Summertime!

Summer is in full swing here in the Valley of the Sun. Alita is now 6 weeks old. She is growing beautifully and happily. She weighs about 10 pounds now and is 22 inches long! Her hair seems to be red or strawberry blond at this point. Which Mom thinks is sooooooo cool and Dad feels sympathy for her (why do redheads hate their INCREDIBLE, UNIQUE, WONDERFUL red hair?). She is smiling and starting to make cute baby noises and gurgles. Jesse and Joshua have been enjoying the pool as much if not more than last summer. Jesse goes to a wonderful summer program 4 days a week for kiddos with autism and other special needs. Joshua continues at his pre-school 3 days a week and goes to gymnastics camp on Mondays. Due to the extreme heat here the boys have been catching up on kids movies and reading a lot. It's only June and at times Jess and Josh are already exhibiting cabin fever! Needless to say we swim as much as we can. The boys continue to be great with their sister and (despite how much she cries) still adore her!
